Chirgaon Lake Chirgaon lake is 15 km away from rohru. The light walking track is around 4 km to get this far, and is easy. The ambience of dense deodar & pine trees around it makes it one of the best serene places for a peaceful escape.
Also, Chirgaon Lake holds religious value and local festivals are celebrated in the village with locals coming together for celebrations as well as to offer prayers. The clear waters of the lake mirror its forested surrounds and it is a beautiful place for swimming, photography and sight-seeing.

The region is well-linked with Shimla, and Rohru can be easily visited by road. Regular buses and taxis connect Shimla with Rohru, making it convenient for tourists. The airport is closest at Jubbarhatti 150 km away and the railhead in Shimla At rohru you will find the taxis and many other local transport which take passenger to near about lakes or treks
